Jordan Lee | JD Candidate, 2019

Sports Conference Editor

Jordan Lee is a 3L at UC Berkeley School of Law and is the Sports Conference Editor of the Berkeley Journal of Entertainment and Sports Law. Jordan graduated from UCLA with a BA in English and a minor in Global Studies. He is a long-suffering San Diego sports fan. He will be working in the Orange County office of Rutan & Tucker and enjoys working out, cooking, and reading Michael Chabon novels in his spare time. 

Drew Washington | JD Candidate, 2019

Editor-in-Chief

Drew Washington is a 3L at Berkeley Law and she is the Editor-in-Chief of the Berkeley Journal of Entertainment & Sports Law. She earned her Bachelor’s from NYU in 2016. Drew ran track and field in college and continues to pursue her love for running. In addition, she loves to travel and mentor young students. Drew will be working at the New York office of Winston & Strawn.

Ally Nelson | JD Candidate, 2020

Ally Nelson is a 2L at UC Berkeley School of Law. She graduated from Georgetown in 2016 with a B.A. in Math and minors in Chemistry and History. Last summer she was a legal intern at Apple in the Intellectual Property & Licensing group. This summer she will be working at the San Francisco office of Kirkland & Ellis. She is originally from New York and is possibly the biggest Mets fan on the West Coast.

Jon Schrieber | JD Candidate, 2021

Jon Schreiber is a 1L at UC Berkeley School of Law. Prior to law school, Jon studied History and American Studies at California State University, Fullerton. Jon is particularly interested in the intersection of IP transactional areas of the law and the sports and entertainment industries. This summer he will be working for the East Bay Community Law Center in the Community Economic Justice Clinic. In his spare time, he loves to write music, perform with his alternative rock band, play basketball and cook.

Lindsey McDonald | JD Candidate, 2021

Lindsey McDonald is a 1L at UC Berkeley School of Law. She graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2017 with a degree in Public Policy Studies and Spanish. She is an avid sports fan and loves a good game of pick-up basketball. Professionally, Lindsey is most interested in the realms of contract resolution and intellectual property in sports and entertainment law.

Christine Bradshaw | JD Candidate, 2021

Christine is a 1L at Berkeley Law. She graduated from the University of Southern California in 2018 with a degree in Philosophy, Politics, & Law and with minors in Communication Law & Media Policy and Songwriting. Christine is looking forward to combining her passions for law and entertainment in the future, and in the meantime enjoys writing songs in between writing briefs, reading female comedian-authored biographies, and attempting to perfect her marinara sauce recipe. 

Naya Coard | JD Candidate, 2021

Naya Coard is a 1L at UC Berkeley Law School. She graduated from Spelman College with a B.A. in English. Prior to matriculating at Berkeley, she worked as a Production Assistant on the Oscar winning film Blackkklansman--an experience that reaffirmed her desire to pursue Entertainment Law. In her spare time she enjoys taking dance classes in Oakland and trying new restaurants. This summer, Naya will be working in the Dallas office of Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton.  

Ayyan Zubair | JD Candidate, 2021

Ayyan Zubair is a 1L at UC Berkeley School of Law. He received his B.A. in Economics, magna cum laude, from Stony Brook University. In addition to his work on the Berkeley Journal for Entertainment and Sports Law, Ayyan has been involved in the California Asylum Representation Clinic, Reentry Project, and Muslim Student Association. In his spare time, Ayyan can be found extolling the virtues of his home state of New York to anyone who will listen.
